The traditional clarinet mouthpiece has finally been revised and updated to maximize the potential inherent in the clarinet.  Theo Wanne has applied his decades of knowledge working with vintage clarinet mouthpieces such as Kaspar, H. Chedeville, and Opperman, to create a truly innovative clarinet mouthpiece that not only maintains the traditional clarinet beauty, but builds on it.

Not just a redo of past mouthpiece design, the GAIA clarinet shows the innovation we've come to expect from the eminent world expert of mouthpiece design, Theo Wanne.

The GAIA clarinet mouthpiece is manufactured to the same legendary standards as the rest of the Theo Wanne Professional saxophone mouthpiece series.  It uses the world's most advanced manufacturing techniques, CAD designs, and full five-axis machining.

We use the highest quality hard rubber, not resins. We will also be making our clarinet mouthpieces in our incredible Stable Wood!

"I also like the classical mouthpiece very much as well…it articulates very well and allows rapid tonguing (which is often needed, especially in pieces like Mendelsohn’s Midsummer Night’s Dream). The sound is also very warm while still having a “ring” to the sound which will allow it to project out over the orchestra." -Rick Kessel publisher for SBO, MMR, JAZZed, Choral Director

"I'm writing to let you know how completely bowled over I am with the Gaia clarinet mouthpiece. The first notes told me I was playing something special. It has all the sound qualities I want, but the big plus for me, is that it's completely effortless! In fact, I have been able to use harder reeds, which, as a saxophone player foremost, has often been a problem, not always being able to put enough time in on the clarinet. On a clarinet job, I was usually tired after a strenuous blow, trying to play a hard enough reed to get the sound I want. Problem now solved. The throat notes are so much clearer too. It's a real winner."-Dick Hamer
